Peter Pearce

Managing Director

As Managing Director, Peter is passionate about Active Innovation and TMAC continuing to play a key role in supporting and shaping a vibrant Australian energy industry.
He progressed to his current role in 2008 after joining the then Thew & McCann in 2003 as Marketing Director where he played a key role in advancing the company’s marketing and growth plans including the rebrand to TMAC in 2015.

Peter began his career working as a technical consultant providing expert scientific advice to rural communities and businesses throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
He then gained significant marketing and general business management experience with a major horticultural marketing organisation, before spending a number of years as a professional business consultant, specialising in strategic marketing advice and business development.

Peter has a Bachelor of Science and MBA from the University of Queensland.

Steve Hunt

Operations Manager

The innovative spirit runs deep in TMAC’s Operations Manager Steve Hunt who loves a challenge and thrives on problem solving.
Steve brings decades of international experience from a variety of industries to the role to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations on delivery and product quality and safety.

Australian based for the last two decades, Steve has held senior positions with some of Australia’s largest brands including Fisher & Paykel, Amcor and Coles to be responsible for managing complex manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Earlier in his career, Steve worked in the United Kingdom in mechanical engineering and technical roles for a range of companies.
He holds numerous qualifications, including an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate IV in Business Leadership and Resource Management.

Product Development Officer

Keith Calder

Product Development Officer

As TMAC’s Chief Product Development Officer, Keith Calder isn’t one to rest on his laurels. He loves the variety of challenges that come across his desk and coming up with new solutions for each one.

This innovative spirit and commitment to Australia’s energy industry was recently recognised when Keith received an Australia Day Medal for his dedication and pursuit of excellence for both the maintenance of electrical systems and staff development.
Keith has broad industry experience having worked for BHP, Queensland Rail and the Australian Navy designing complex electrical engineering systems for BHP and coordinated submarine electrical repairs and maintenance for the Navy.

As an integral member of TMAC’s design and development team and head of our Active Innovation Unit, Keith has completed the technical submissions for several tenders, undertaken electrical type testing of portable earthing devices and powerline connectors as well as mechanical type testing of TMAC tools and equipment and composite crossarms.
Keith holds a Diploma of Engineering in Electrical Systems.

Monique Reimer

Sales Consultant

Our Sales Consultant, Monique plays a crucial role in ensuring our business runs smoothly. Starting with us in 2016 as an Administration Support, Monique’s role has now expanded to sales, quotes and purchasing.

Monique loves working with and learning from other members of our team who have extensive industry experience. In this way, she broadens her knowledge and understanding, which in turns helps her better support our customers.

Her favourite part of the role is the daily interaction with customers.  She is committed to delivering efficient, responsive customer support as she knows this makes a significant difference – showing customers that there is a person behind the product or service request.

Monique works hard to understand what the customer needs, then ensures the right product is delivered as quickly as possible. She also understands the importance of regular, clear communication to our customers.

Monique has an extensive background in administration support for banking, superannuation and insurance. Her knowledge, efficiency and communication skills underpins the great reputation TMAC has developed for its customer service.
